
Woodland Middle School participated in Red Ribbon Week by dressing in the national theme, "Life is a Movie, Live Drug Free". WMS also had a fantastic assembly to honor 1st quarter awards.











Cardinal Adventure Camp - After School Care

Mr. Thomas Mills is the recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Community Classroom grant. This grant supports local classrooms by providing materials, resources, and funding for educational experiences. Mr. Mills and his World Religions class will take a field trip to the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum. Mr. Mills is pictured with Mrs. Mary Meyers, DAR's Community Classroom representative.


Senior Millie Bazzell was presented with the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen Award. This honor provides Millie with the opportunity to compete for the DAR State Scholarship. Senior Millie Bazzell has decided to enlist into the Missouri Army National Guard as a 68W, Combat Medic. Millie plans to use her military training and her college education to gain experience and build her resume for a career in the medical field. The Woodland High School Young Entrepreneurs Fair is going on until 7:30pm this evening.
Woodland High School students are set up in the high school halls with baked goods, crocheted critters, beaded bracelets, pumpkins, and spices.

The Bollinger County Clerk met with students who were interested in learning more about voter registration. Eligible students were also given the opportunity to register to vote. They learned that although you have to be 18 years old to vote, you can register to vote at the age of 17 1/2 years old. They also learned that today is the last day to register in order to vote in the November 5 presidential election. #rootEdMissouri


Woodland High School students attended Build My Future in Cape Girardeau. Build My Future is an interactive construction career day. Students had the opportunity to visit with over 50 local businesses and try their hand at different construction skills including brick laying, heavy equipment operation, welding, nail driving, and concrete smoothing. Employment and training applications were also available for seniors. #rootEdMissouri #BuildMyFuture
