Reminder: Saturday , Aug. 3 to Sunday, Aug. 11 is Athletic Dead Week. Per MSHSAA guidelines, students are not to utilize the school facilities including the track, outdoor fields, gym, or weight room and are to have no contact with coaches. Tryouts/practices begin Aug 12, 2024.

Early Dismissal on Friday May 17th: The Woodland R-IV School District has changed the calendar for the last day of school to allow staff to wrap up management activities in the buildings on Friday. We will go through early dismissal at 1:00 PM. Sorry for the short notice but we hope the students and staff have a safe and eventful summer!

Woodland High School was gifted three 15 gallon trees from the Missouri Department of Conservation and 15 other 3-5 gallon trees and shrubs from a Non-Profit Organization called "releaf". The MDC regional forestry representative, Jennifer Behnken, and her assistant Jonathan, brought mulch and shovels and taught students how to plant and care for trees. The trees and shrubs were planted throughout the school grounds with many placed in front of the school buildings.

Congratulations to 7th Grade students Karissa Green, River Fain, and Alexsa Vangennip on being published writers! Ms. Duncan's 7th-grade ELA students were published in the Hunted book. Be sure to congratulate them if you see them!

Junior FBLA Members helped serve food at the FEMA Luncheon to contractors and board members involved in the building project as a celebration of completion. They received a sneak peak of the entrance and personally thanked everyone for their hard work. Everyone is invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at 5:00pm on Friday, May 10th.




Prom was held at the Mayfield Cultural Center on Saturday, April 20th with a Red Carpet theme. The Junior Prom Committee worked very hard to host the Prom this year. Presley Ridings was crowned Queen and Jase Massa was crowned King. A huge thank you to Serenity House Floral for the beautiful decor and Munchies for the delicious food! Mr. Shrum was the best DJ! Thank you to everyone who helped make this night one to remember!
