Mrs. Gray’s Library Club members sponsored a Valentine’s Day reading promotion called “Blind Date with a Book''. Club members helped prepare “blind date books” by wrapping them in brown paper and writing a few clues on tags attached to the fronts. Students who check out a mystery book are encouraged to “rate their date” on the enclosed raffle ticket after reading the first few chapters. Completed raffle tickets were then entered in a drawing for a prize. This year's winners were:
7th/8th Grade: Abigail Dennis won a Valentine's bag of treats
High School: Chloe Green won a gift certificate to 573 Coffee House

During a student led Leader in Me lesson for Habit 6: Synergize, the student leaders helped classmates synergize by working together.
The student leaders found a game to include in the lesson. Students stood in a circle, held someone else’s hand across from them, and then had to work together to become untangled.
Mrs. Spaeth, their teacher, enjoyed seeing them come together to figure out the problem and watch them synergizing together!
