
Calendar Update: Based on our current status of missed days due to weather and construction, we have submitted our attendance hours to DESE have received a determination. The Woodland R-IV School District will not have to modify the current calendar for the 2022-2023 school year at this time. Barring any additional missed days, the last day of attendance will be May 19, 2023. Thank you

The Class of 2023 Decision Day was held March 16 where seniors announced their postsecondary decisions based on the six career clusters: Arts & Communication, Business, Management & Technology, Health Services, Human Services, Industrial & Engineering Technology, and Natural Resources Agriculture. On March 18, the high school Speech Club competed at Districts. Ben Gabriel placed 3rd in Story Telling, Katelynn Hahs placed 6th in Poetry, and Aaron Stewart placed 1st in Radio and is state bound. #CardinalPride

During a student led Leader in Me lesson for Habit 6: Synergize, the student leaders helped classmates synergize by working together.
The student leaders found a game to include in the lesson. Students stood in a circle, held someone else’s hand across from them, and then had to work together to become untangled.
Mrs. Spaeth, their teacher, enjoyed seeing them come together to figure out the problem and watch them synergizing together!




Woodland will be teaming up with SEMO this fall for our Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment course offerings. Mrs. Booth, Mrs. Brumfield, and Mrs. Stroder will be in the High School Library assisting students with early registration.

Seventh grader, Kaitlyn Green has been chosen for publication in the Young Writer's Twisted Tales: A Change in Perspective contest. Kaitlyn's Twisted Tale titled will appear in the young Writer's Twisted Tales book coming soon.


Reminder-girls in grades PK-8 may bring their father or other adult male guest to Woodland's Princess Dance on Saturday, March 18th. Tickets are still available for purchase through this Friday, March 3rd.
