Woodland High School was gifted three 15 gallon trees from the Missouri Department of Conservation and 15 other 3-5 gallon trees and shrubs from a Non-Profit Organization called "releaf". The MDC regional forestry representative, Jennifer Behnken, and her assistant Jonathan, brought mulch and shovels and taught students how to plant and care for trees. The trees and shrubs were planted throughout the school grounds with many placed in front of the school buildings.
