Woodland High School's International Foods' students welcomed a special guest on April 26th. Christan Voigt, owner of The German Cook, introduced the class to cooking reminiscent of his life growing up in Germany. He brought produce fresh from the farmer's market and led students in creating several delicious dishes. They made both tomato and cucumber salads with German vinegar. They also fried eggs and boiled potatoes to go with the creamy spinach they whipped up. Even students who are usually vegetable-averse were surprised to find that they really liked the dishes!
