Junior FBLA Members helped serve food at the FEMA Luncheon to contractors and board members involved in the building project as a celebration of completion. They received a sneak peak of the entrance and personally thanked everyone for their hard work. Everyone is invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at 5:00pm on Friday, May 10th.



Prom was held at the Mayfield Cultural Center on Saturday, April 20th with a Red Carpet theme. The Junior Prom Committee worked very hard to host the Prom this year. Presley Ridings was crowned Queen and Jase Massa was crowned King. A huge thank you to Serenity House Floral for the beautiful decor and Munchies for the delicious food! Mr. Shrum was the best DJ! Thank you to everyone who helped make this night one to remember!

Woodland High School LAIII students and the forestry team traveled to Meramec State Park to tour Fisher Cave. This was a result of the Missouri State Parks Bus Grant Program. The two hour tour was very informative, and the day was enjoyed by all. @mostateparks

On May 4, Jespn Evans and Kaitlyn Green competed in the 3rd round of the Optimist Oratorical Competition. Competing against 12 of the regions top speakers, Green took home 2nd place earning a $1,500 scholarship. Evans was within the top six. Both competitors did a great job and plan to compete again next year! #CardinalPride
Today was the C.O.W. (Careers on Wheels) Fair for grades Pk-8. It was a huge success! Thank you to all of the community members and business owners for sharing about their careers.

We invite you to attend performances by the Woodland Drama Clubs this Friday, May 3 at 6:30pm at the Mayfield Center.



Today Woodland High School students had the opportunity to showcase their talents at the WHS Talent Show. Talents included poetry, singing, and instrumentals. The idea originated from students enrolled in Speech. These students organized, advertised, and led the event with support from their teacher, Mrs. Stegeman.

Woodland High School's International Foods' students welcomed a special guest on April 26th. Christan Voigt, owner of The German Cook, introduced the class to cooking reminiscent of his life growing up in Germany. He brought produce fresh from the farmer's market and led students in creating several delicious dishes. They made both tomato and cucumber salads with German vinegar. They also fried eggs and boiled potatoes to go with the creamy spinach they whipped up. Even students who are usually vegetable-averse were surprised to find that they really liked the dishes!

On April 15, Woodland High School hosted a Career Fair for students in grades 10-12. Surrounding high schools and the entire Bollinger County community were also invited to the event. Students and guests had the opportunity to network with local businesses, learn about career and training opportunities, and apply for employment.
