Lilley Anne Long was born on June 20th, 2004. She is the daughter of Shaun & Jada Long. She has 2 siblings, Madalyn and Lacey Long. Lilley is involved in Beta Club, FCCLA, Pep Club, FFA, and FBLA. She is also part of the Woodland softball team. Her favorite teachers are Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Ridings, pink is her favorite color, and her favorite food is chicken fried rice.
When Lilley was younger, she wanted to be a teacher, she now plans to attend SEMO and pursue a degree in elementary education or special education. Her favorite high school memory is being in Mrs. Johnson’s advisory. Lilley’s most embarrassing memory is face planting into home plate in one of her first games freshman season. The thing she will miss most about high school is being able to talk to Selena every day and bringing her little sisters to school. When asked about her thoughts on graduating Lilley says, “I’m sad, but excited about what the future has in store for me.”
Her advice to underclassmen is, “Don’t wish away these next years of your life, it will be over before you know it, don’t take the opportunities you're given for granted.” Her biggest accomplishment is the many friendships she made along the way, along with balancing schoolwork and working a part-time job. The person who has had the greatest influence on her is her mom, “She has taught me to stay strong and push through the difficulties life will throw at you.”
Lilley would like to give a shoutout to Mom, Dad, Madalyn, lacey, the rest of her family, and Selena.
