Emma Gavrielle Fox was born April 10, 2003. She has five siblings: Elyjah, Janelle, Lauren, Nolan, and Laney. Emma is the daughter of David Fox and Jeniese Boyer. She is involved in Beta, FFA, FCCLA, and softball. Her favorite teachers are Mr. Ridings and Ms. Braswell, favorite food is mashed potatoes, and her favorite color is light purple.

When Emma was growing up, she wanted to be a teacher, she now plans to attend College of the Ozarks to study physical therapy. Her favorite high school memory was when the school had a greased pig contest. “I was the one who caught Cupcake (the pig) prior to the competition so that we could grease her up, by the time we were done I was covered in it.” Emma says her most embarrassing high school memory was when she had a complete flat tire, “My mom had to come help me put the spare tire on in the high school student parking lot.” The thing she will miss most about high school is getting to see her friends every day. Emma’s best friend Paige Lape has had the biggest impact on her life, “She has been there for me, pushing me to always be my best self and encouraging me to step outside my comfort zone. I would not be the person I am today without her.”

Emma’s advice to underclassmen: “Have an open mind and get out of your comfort zone and try something new, join a club, make new friends, and try out for sports. Don’t let opportunities pass by because you're too scared to try.” She says her biggest accomplishment so far has been stepping out of her comfort zone. She said she used to be a shy, timid kid, too scared to try something new but since transferring to woodland, she’s gained enough confidence and she said she’s so proud of herself.

Emma’s shoutout goes to, “Mom and Dad, thanks for raising me right.”
