Picture of Shelten Hester

Shelten Brian Hester was born on September 26, 2003. He is the son of Brian and Amy Hester. Shelten has two brothers, Quentin and Clayton Hester. He is a part of Beta, FFA, and Track and Field. His favorite teacher is Ms. Braswell, his favorite color is green, and his favorite food is pulled pork.

When Shelten was younger, he wanted to be a goat farmer, he now plans to go to college to find a career in the agriculture field and have cows on the side. His favorite high school memory is placing top 10 at Beta Nationals for Social Studies in Oklahoma City his freshman year. The thing he will miss most about high school is seeing everybody each day and the memories they make, but he is ready to get his life started. Shelten’s most embarrassing moment was at Beta Nationals, he was trying to find the Pizza delivery guy and got stuck outside on the wrong floor after a fire alarm went off.

The person who has had the greatest influence in Shelten’s life is his dad for he has always shown him how to work hard and have common sense and also to have a good sense of humor. His advice to underclassmen is don’t be stupid, learn and do your work, and have a good’ol time doing all of it.

Shelten would like to give a shoutout to his family, Ms. Braswell, Mr. Layton, Mrs. Gray, and all the “jack wagons” he talks to at school.
