Elizabeth Joleigh Carlton was born on May 14th, 2004. She is the daughter of Windy and Derrick Carlton. She has 2 siblings: Alex and Jackson Carlton. Ellie is involved in FCCLA, Beta, Pep Club, FCA, and Yearbook. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Johnson, light blue is her favorite color, and sushi is her favorite food. When Ellie was younger, she wanted to be a veterinarian. When she graduates high school, she plans to go to college and to major in early childhood education and graphic arts. Her favorite high school memory is going to junior prom with all her friends and eating Taco Bell afterward. She recalls her most embarrassing memory, “The time Bailey Wilson was about to get off the bus, we hit a bump and her trumpet case hit me in the mouth and chipped my front tooth.”
The thing she will miss most about high school is seeing familiar faces every day. When asked about her thoughts about graduating Ellie said she is scared and sad, but excited to see what's in store for her. Her advice to underclassmen is to keep pushing forward, there is so much that you have to explore and create for yourself. Her biggest accomplishment is creating amazing relationships with so many people. The person that has had the greatest influence on her is her Mom and Dad. “They have pushed me to be my very best and showed me how much I am worth.”
Ellie would like to give a shoutout to her friends, Mrs. Johnson, Momma, Dad, Alex, Jack, Mammer (Grandma), Aunt Summer, and Uncle Scott. Then her cousins Paige, Bailey, and Gavin.
