WOODLAND R-IV

Garret Christopher Koenig was born on March 15, 2004 to Shari and Randy Koenig, and is the brother of Sara. He is involved in Beta Club, FBLA, FFA, Pep Club, and plays baseball for the fall and spring seasons. Garret’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Johnson. His favorite foods include a good steak or BBQ wings. His favorite colors are blue and green. When Garret was younger, he wanted to grow up to be a farmer. Now, after high school, he plans to join the workforce, then soon start a family, and live on a farm with a big pretty white house. His greatest accomplishment in high school is keeping good grades and good friends through it all. What he will miss most about high school is seeing everyone. “It’s going to be weird not seeing everyone all the time, but we’re all growing up and starting our own lives,” he stated. Garret’s favorite high school memory is listening to Benny and Mrs. J argue everyday about grades, while his most embarrassing memory is setting off a fart bomb at FBLA state. The person who has had the biggest impact on his life is his dad, he has shown him what hard work is and where it will get you in life. His advice to underclassmen is “Be involved as much as you can and never feel dumb to do something you want to do.” Garret would like to give a shout out to his mom, dad, Papa Cook, Grandpa Koenig, Sara, Madyson, Damon, Bennett, Landon, Steve, and Rodney for all they have done for him.
