Riley Nichole Massa was born July 15, 2004. She is the daughter of Cody and Misty Thompson, and Davey and Tasha Massa. She has five siblings, Carson Massa, Addy Massa, Jase Massa, Kyra McCall, and Tyler Massa. Riley is involved in Pep Club and FCCLA. She is also part of the volleyball, softball, and basketball teams. Her favorite teacher is Ms. Braswell. Riley’s favorite colors are blue, white, and yellow and her favorite foods are tortellini alfredo and lasagna.

When Riley was younger, she wanted to be a veterinarian. When she graduates, she plans to attend Renaissance to become a cosmetologist. Her favorite memory was when the Woodland girls basketball team won districts for the first time in history. Riley recalls her most embarrassing memory, “During practice, I went up to hit and my whole arm went through the net and accidentally hit Carol on top of her head as she was blocking.”

The things Riley will miss most are making memories, the friends she’s used to seeing every day, and most importantly, sports. When asked her thoughts about graduating, she has mixed feelings. She isn't looking forward to the tough life decisions and will miss making memories. Riley’s biggest influence is her stepdad, Cody, who raised her and her brothers as his own, and made every memory one to remember.

The advice she gives her underclassmen, “Cherish every moment of high school. It will be four of the best years of your life and it will be gone before you know it, so have fun and cherish every moment.”

Riley would like to give her shoutout to, “My mom, she believed in me! She was the one who made me who I am, and I don’t know what I would have done without her support. My brothers, Tyler & Jase, have stood by my side throughout the hard times in my life. They’ve supported me as much as they could. Life without them wouldn’t be the same. I love them both.”
