Callie Rae Hutchings was born on December 23, 2003. She has six siblings, Mya, Danika, Tawny, Kynnedy, Jett, and Cam. Callie is the daughter of Makisha and Chad Ritter. She is involved in Beta, Pep Club, FCCLA, and plays Basketball. Her favorite teachers are Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Layton. Callie’s favorite food is her mom’s stuffed shells.

When Callie was growing up, she wanted to be Snooki from Jersey Shore, even dressing like her one year for Halloween. In the fall of 2022, she plans to attend SEMO and pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner. Callie’s favorite High School memory is the day the girls’ basketball team won Districts for the first time (February 25, 2021). Her most embarrassing moment is presenting the Beta Rap at National Convention while trying to keep a straight face. What she will miss most about High School is her best friend, Celesse.

Mr. Layton has had the biggest impact on Callie’s life. Callie states, “Even when I don’t like to hear his advice, and I’m stubborn most of the time, everything he says to me I take into consideration. I’d say he’s a pretty good guy, and I cannot thank him enough for listening to me and trying his best to help in any way possible.”

The advice she gives to underclassmen, “Please get involved while you still can. Don’t sit back in the shadows of your peers, get out of your comfort zone, and make the most of your time in High School. You’ll be writing your senior spotlight soon enough; don’t take time for granted.”

Callie would like to thank several important people in her life. “My momma for always supporting and believing in me no matter what. I’d like to thank my amazing stepdad, Chad. Celesse, my best friend, thank you for keeping me sane over the years. Destinee, thank you for always being there for me and never failing to put a smile on my face. I love you all big time.”
