Oliver Brown was born on September 7, 2007, to Nick and Roxanne Brown. He has one sibling, Emma. Oliver’s favorite teacher is Mr. Mills because, as he says, “he’s a great person all around.” If he had to describe himself in three words, he would choose driven, friendly, and reliable. If Oliver could travel anywhere in the world, he would go to Rome, explaining, “I think it would be a fun place to travel, see the Colosseum, and try the food.” His favorite school memories include filming the “bug movie” and the time he put Drew on top of the roof in Ms. Stegeman’s class to retrieve a ball. His most embarrassing moment was performing “My Singing Monsters” at the talent show.
As a child, Oliver wanted to be an architect, but now he plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University to pursue a degree in Construction Management. During high school, he was involved in Beta Club, Pep Club, and FCLA. Oliver’s advice to underclassmen is, “Have fun, do your work, and make as many memories as you can.” When asked how he feels about graduating, he shared that he is “excited for the future and what is to come” in his life. He will miss everyone—from friends to teachers—and the community as a whole. The person who has had the greatest influence on Oliver is his mom because “she has always been there for me through anything and pushed me to be the best version of myself.” He considers his biggest accomplishment so far to be earning 2nd place in Science at the National Beta Convention.
