Robert

Robert Lawrence Jansen was born on February 5, 2008, to David Jansen and Loreale and Torey England. He has four siblings: David Jr., Louis, Abigail, and Eli. During high school, Robert has been involved in FCA, Discipleship, STUCO, and Pep Club. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Balzer because “She always pushed me to my limits and helped me get out of my comfort zone. She is always easy to talk to about anything.” Robert describes himself as sweet, kind, and respectful. If given the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world, Robert would choose Iceland for its breathtaking scenery, including waterfalls, geysers, the Northern Lights, geothermal pools, and endless opportunities for adventure. Robert’s favorite high school memory is playing games during advisory. On the other hand, his most embarrassing moment was being part of a group that performed “Singing Monsters” at a talent show.

As a child, Robert dreamed of becoming a racecar driver. Now, he plans to go straight into the workforce after college. He offers this advice to underclassmen: “Keep future goals in mind, but don’t rush through high school. Enjoy the experiences and memories you’re making.” Robert says he is excited to graduate but knows he will miss seeing his friends every day. He considers his biggest accomplishment in high school to be maintaining good grades. He also shares that his greatest influences are his mom and dad, who have always pushed him to do his best and supported him in achieving his goals.
