Colton Jordan was born on March 4, 2008, to Chris and Brandi Jordan. He has three siblings: Faith, Abbey, and Essie. Colton’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Balzer because, as he says, “she was the one who made me do my work.” If he had to describe himself in three words, he would choose goofy, athletic, and sleepy. If given the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world, Colton would choose Alaska because “I love the outdoors and love to hunt.” His favorite high school memory is winning the conference baseball tournament during his freshman year.
As a child, Colton dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player. After graduation, he plans to study business. During high school, he was involved in Pep Club and participated in baseball and track and field. Colton’s advice to underclassmen is simple: “Try before it’s too late.” As he prepares to graduate, he says he feels good about this next chapter. He will miss Mrs. Balzer and roaming the halls with friends. The people who have had the greatest influence on Colton are Mrs. Balzer and his dad because “they have pushed me to be the best person I can be.” One of his biggest accomplishments is being accepted into several colleges when he once thought attending college might not be possible.
