Dalton

Dalton Reed was born on July 9, 2007, to Tonya and Donald Reed. He has three siblings: Lilly, Clayton, and Colton. Dalton’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Stegeman because she always turns his worst days into the best ones. If he had to describe himself in three words, he would choose respectful, creative, and calm. If Dalton could travel anywhere in the world, he would go to the Bahamas because he feels it would be a great “getaway.” His favorite high school memory is attending the Barn Warming dance his sophomore year, while his most embarrassing moment was also at Barn Warming—his senior year.

As a child, Dalton dreamed of becoming a truck driver. After graduation, he plans to earn his CDL and attend lineman school. During high school, he was involved in FFA. Dalton’s advice to underclassmen is to focus on schoolwork and spend time with friends while you can, because you may not always have the opportunity to see them again. When asked how he feels about graduating, he said, “I’m excited.” He will miss his friends and teachers the most, as they helped shape who he is today. The people who have had the greatest influence on Dalton are his parents, because “they have taught me a lot and have always been by my side when I needed them most.” He considers his biggest accomplishment so far to be succeeding in school.
