Nathan Page was born on May 5, 2008. He is the son of Regina Page and Jon Edmonds. He has three siblings: Matthew Vaillancourt, Kristin Vaillancourt, and Kyle Edmonds. Nathan’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Balzer because she is calm and truly enjoys her job. Three words he uses to describe himself are strong, lazy, and impulsive. If he could travel anywhere in the world, he would choose Sweden for its beautiful scenery. One of Nate’s favorite school memories is from seventh grade, when he perfectly planned to sneak a chair from the creek all the way into the school during recess — and Mrs. Balzer still has it in her room for when he graduates. His most embarrassing moment of high school happened during P.E. class when both of his calves cramped at the same time while running laps around the track, leaving everyone waiting at the finish line for him to make it there.
As a child, Nate dreamed of becoming a pilot. Now, he plans to attend SEMO College in Sikeston to pursue a health science degree for two years before transferring to either Cape SEMO or Missouri State to complete the next two years. Although he has not previously participated in sports, he plans to join Track and Field this year. Nathan’s advice to underclassmen is: “Don’t try to fit into a lot of different groups you don't like — just find a couple of real friends.” When asked how he feels about graduating, he said, “Not much. It’s going to be a big change, but I'm still talking to people I know from here afterwards. It’s not like I’m done with school now anyway.” He will miss his friends the most, especially after moving away. Nate credits Riley Dockins as his greatest influence for helping him stay consistent in the gym, which he says completely changed him. His biggest accomplishment so far is benching the same weight as the school record — and he believes he will soon take that record for himself.
Shoutouts: Riley Dockins, Evan Nielsen, Corbin Sites, and Mrs. Balzer.
