Dalton Tharp was born March 3, 2008 to Jennifer Turner. Later in his life he was adopted by Ashli and Brett Hayden. He has seven siblings: Dustin, Sabrina, Sarah, Joshua, Izayic, Emmaline, and Jettson. Dalton’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Stegeman because she has always encouraged him to strive for greatness. He is actively involved in Drama Club and cherishes the memories he has made there—especially the time he shaved half of his face for a play, which remains his favorite high school moment.
As a child, he dreamed of becoming a paleontologist. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career as a front-end web designer or full-stack web developer. His advice to underclassmen is simple: “Don’t mess up and believe in yourself.” When asked how he feels about graduating, Dalton summed it up in one word: “Relieved.” The people who have had the greatest influence on his life are his legal guardians. When reflecting on his accomplishments so far, Dalton says his biggest achievement is simply still being alive—a statement that reflects both his resilience and his sense of humor.
