Kaitlyn Jean Riegert was born on January 31, 2007, to April Niswonger and Shaun Riegert. She has six siblings: Chris, Brooke, Ally, Landon, Kaysen, and Zayden. During her high school years, Kaitlyn was actively involved in Pep Club and FCCLA. Her favorite teacher is Ms. Bazzell because “she is just easy to talk to.” When describing herself in three words, Kaitlyn chose loud, funny, and silly. One of her favorite high school memories was painting a ceiling tile with Jordan and Chloe. If given the chance to travel anywhere, Kaitlyn would head straight to Florida.
As a child, Kaitlyn dreamed of becoming a police officer. Today, she plans to pursue an office job or earn her license to do tattoos. Her advice to underclassmen is simple: “Keep going, you only have four years.” When asked how she feels about graduating, Kaitlyn says she is very happy but will miss seeing her everyday friends. The person who has had the greatest influence on her life is Brooke, who always pushed her to get out and do something on her bad days. Kaitlyn considers passing all of her classes to be her biggest accomplishment so far.
