Sarah

Sarah Mae Jordan was born on December 6, 2007, to parents Edward and Susan Jordan. She has two siblings, Noah and Anna. Sarah’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Balzer, whom she describes as “a fun teacher and easy to talk to.” Three words that best describe her are caring, hardworking, and unique. If Sarah could travel anywhere in the world, she would choose Japan, mainly because she wants to witness and learn more about its culture.

Sarah participates in band, and one of her favorite school memories took place during her freshman year when the band teacher took the group to the Jackson Band Festival. After the parade, they were able to stay and watch the field shows performed on the football field. Her advice to underclassmen is, “Make the most of high school, because it feels like those four years fly by so fast.” When asked how she feels about graduating, Sarah says she feels good but also a little sad, as she has grown very comfortable with school life. She will miss the amazing teachers and friends she has made, especially her advisory family.

The person who has had the greatest influence on Sarah is her mom, who she says is easy to talk to and always encourages her to try her best, even when things are difficult. Sarah considers her biggest accomplishment to be reaching this point in her life, both personally and academically.
