Jordan Ann Martin was born on September 3, 2007, to parents Heather Martin and Javier Quintana. She has two siblings, Jacob Martin and Lane Lee. Jordan’s favorite teachers are Mrs. Balzer and Mrs. Stegeman because, as she says, “They always give the best advice and are there for me whenever I need to talk.” Her favorite staff quote also comes from Mrs. Stegeman: “Know your self-worth and don’t let anyone drag you down from becoming better.” Three words that best describe Jordan are hardworking, passionate, and bold. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would choose California because “it’s outdoorsy and very pretty.” Her favorite school memory is participating in Mrs. Balzer’s advisory family days. Her most embarrassing school moment happened when her brother Lane announced it was her birthday, and the entire lunchroom began singing.
As a child, Jordan wanted to become a nurse. After high school, she plans to go straight into the workforce. She is involved in Pep Club and encourages younger classmates by saying, “Be nice to your teachers and don’t talk back—they’re just trying to help you. Do your work, because in the long run you won’t be stressed from missing assignments.” Although Jordan is nervous, she is also ready to graduate. She will miss the teachers and friends she grew close to throughout high school. The person who has had the biggest influence on her life is her Aunt Wawa. “She pushes me to accomplish things so I can have the future I want, and she’s my biggest supporter in anything I do.” Jordan’s biggest accomplishment so far is maintaining good grades while holding a job at the same time.
Shoutouts: Grandma Cindy, Wawa, Jav, my brothers, Dess, Zach, Haylie, Montana, Dallas, Layla, Mrs. Balzer, and Mrs. Stegeman.
