Kallie Davis was born on September 7, 2007, to Krysty Davis and Mark Davis Jr. Her stepparents are Michael Storie and Jessica Davis, and she has three siblings: Allyssa, Maddison, and Asher Lee Davis. She’s involved in FBLA and Pep Club and describes herself as artistic, ambitious, and passionate. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Balzer because “she has been there for me from 6th grade until now and is my biggest supporter.” If Kallie could travel anywhere, she’d choose Bora Bora for the clear water and beautiful scenery. Her favorite high school memory is when the freshman homecoming dance beat the seniors’ dance. Her most embarrassing moment also happened freshman year—getting hit in the eyes with a football during the first week of school and ending up with two black eyes.
When she was younger, Kallie dreamed of becoming a hairstylist, and now she’s making that dream a reality. She’s registered to start training at Trendsetter School of Cosmetology in March and hopes to build a successful career in cosmetology. Kallie is excited to graduate, though she jokes that she’ll miss not having to work every day. Her biggest influence is her mom, who taught her how to be strong and always pushed her to be her best—even on the days she didn’t believe in herself. Kallie says her biggest accomplishment so far is overcoming six major knee surgeries, keeping a smile on her face (with a few frowns along the way). Her advice to underclassmen is simple and reassuring: “High school isn’t end game; it will be okay.”
