Her favorite staff member is Mrs. Gray because “she was always there for me.” Her favorite staff quote comes from Officer Jim Jensen: “Don’t forget to sign in at the office.” If she had to describe herself in three words, she’d say outgoing, loving, and authentic. One of her favorite school memories was beating the seniors in the homecoming dance during her freshman year. Her most embarrassing moment was walking up to the office to sign in almost every day while Mr. Kinder watched her through the window.
When she was younger, Allyssa wanted to be a pig farmer. Now, she plans to start a family and spend lots of time with her baby, Westin. Her advice to underclassmen is simple: “Don’t be late for school.” As graduation gets closer, Allyssa says she feels very happy, though she knows she’ll miss seeing her teachers. The people who’ve influenced her the most are her family, because they’ve always been there for her. Her biggest accomplishment so far is finishing high school while also becoming a mom.
