Cierra Brownlee was born on January 17, 2008. She is the granddaughter of Sheila and Wain Kirkpatrick and has one sibling, Bratlee. She is involved in BETA and FCCLA. Cierra’s favorite teacher is Ms. Braswell because “she has always been there for me and always makes me laugh.” Cierra describes herself as outgoing, fun, and creative. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would choose Italy because “it is so beautiful, and there are so many opportunities for good Instagram pictures.” One of her favorite high school memories is the celebration held before the FEMA building was built, while her most embarrassing moment was slipping in a puddle of milk during lunch.
As a child, Cierra dreamed of becoming a gymnast or a brain surgeon, but her goals have changed. Now, she plans to complete CTC with her CNA and LPN certifications and then bridge into her RN program in nursing school. Graduating feels surreal to Cierra. “We dreamed about it, yet I didn’t realize it would come so soon,” she says. What she will miss most about high school is seeing her friends every day. The person who has influenced her the most is her grandma, who “has always inspired me to do my best and pushed me to be the greatest person I can be.” Cierra considers her greatest accomplishment so far to be being accepted into the only practical nursing program for high schoolers in Missouri.
