Khloe Simmons was born on July 6, 2008, to Thomas Simmons. She has four siblings: Jolie, Devin, Jazmin, and Allison. Her favorite teacher is Ms. Braswell because, as Khloe says, “she gets my humor and adds onto it in hilarious, unpredictable ways.” Khloe describes herself as creative, dramatic, and loyal. If she could travel anywhere, she would go to Indiana to visit someone close to her. One of her favorite school memories is from her sophomore year at band camp, when she “conspired with the entirety of band into pelting Chloe Green with water balloons on our water day.” Her most embarrassing moment occurred during Drama Club her freshman year, when she fell out of her chair in character and nearly knocked over two people.
As a child, Khloe dreamed of becoming a doctor, but now she plans to attend Three Rivers College and pursue a degree in history education. She is actively involved in Beta Club, Drama Club, and S.A.D.D. Her advice to underclassmen: “Don’t give up because you think you aren’t as smart as someone else—strive to do YOUR best. Don’t try to do someone else’s best.” Khloe admits she is both dreading and excited for graduation. What she will miss most is meeting every Tuesday and Thursday with her Drama Club family. She names her greatest influence as her dad, explaining, “He has taught me all I know, and everyone seems to say we are completely alike.” When reflecting on her achievements, Khloe considers placing at the BETA State Convention for digital art her proudest accomplishment so far.
