Drayden Lungwitz was born on May 30, 2008, to Cory and Mark Lungwitz. He has three siblings: Samantha Harris, Joni Lungwitz, and Maggie Lungwitz. Drayden’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Dewitt because, as he puts it, “she was the only one who was patient enough to deal with me in my younger years.” He describes himself in three words: adventurous, hardworking, and caring. If he could travel anywhere in the world, Drayden would choose Paris so he could see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night. One of his favorite school memories is baseball practice during the 2023–2024 season, thanks to his friend Seth Abernathy. Drayden says he has “too many embarrassing school memories to even name.”
As a child, Drayden dreamed of becoming a heavy equipment operator. After high school, he plans to attend MWI for welding or join the military. He is involved in Pep Club, FFA, and plays baseball. His advice to underclassmen is simple: “Enjoy high school; it goes by quicker than you think.” Although he’s excited to graduate, Drayden admits he’s still a little nervous. He will miss being around his friends and mentors every day. He says his biggest influence is his mom because “she has always believed in me.” Drayden feels that graduating will be his greatest accomplishment.
