Zachary Eric Lehmann was born on January 17, 2008, to Sandy and Chad Lehmann. He has three siblings: Everly, Kaylee, and Kiara. Zach’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Balzer, who, he says, “has always believed in me and cheered me on even when I didn’t believe in myself.” His favorite staff quote comes from Mrs. Kinder: “My kids, get back to my room, NOW!” Zach describes himself as bold, iconic, and a diva. If he could travel anywhere in the world, he would choose Italy for its beauty and breathtaking landscapes. His favorite school memory is going on BETA trips with Ms. Braswell, while his most embarrassing high school moment was losing the BETA Vice President election at the state convention.

As a child, Zach dreamed of becoming a police officer, but now he plans to attend SEMO to pursue a degree in business. He is an active member of BETA, FBLA, FCCLA, and Pep Club. Zach offers this advice to underclassmen: "Do your best and never give up, it does get easier." As graduation approaches, Zach is excited but admits, “I will miss the relationships I have with my teachers.” Reflecting on his life, Zach credits his mom as his greatest influence saying, “She always pushes me and has always supported me through all the challenges I’ve faced.” He considers winning the Black River Electric Essay contest, which earned him a paid trip to Washington, D.C., as his proudest accomplishment so far.
