Jagoda Senior Pic

Jagoda Wolicka-Wolszleger was born on August 5, 2008, in Poland. She is the daughter of Patrycja Wolicka-Wolszleger and Jerzy Wolicki-Wolszleger and has one sibling, Jerzy. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Mills because “he's funny even if he doesn't try.” Three words Jagoda would use to describe herself are open-minded, honest, and curious. If she could travel anywhere in the world, Jagoda would choose Antarctica “to see penguins, stand on glaciers, and spend a few days in extreme cold.” Her favorite memory from her high school years was visiting Six Flags during Fright Fest with her host family.

When she was young, she wanted to be a dancer. Now that she’s older, she plans to attend college to study either state security, law, forensic science, or politics. Jagoda is involved in Beta, Pep Club, and cheer. Her advice to underclassmen: “Always be yourself and be honest, because people will appreciate you more.” Jagoda was nervous about graduating at first, but she realized she’d been waiting so long and is now excited. She will miss the people at school the most, especially the teachers, because they are always there. The people who had the greatest impact on her were her parents, who showed her much of the world by traveling to different countries for various reasons. They also taught her how to treat people with kindness and how to believe in herself. Jagoda believes her greatest accomplishment was having the courage to go on an exchange to another continent without knowing anyone there.
