Montana Rose Harper was born on April 17, 2008, to parents Brittany Hamlin and Darrell Harper. She has seven siblings: Holly Harper, Kenneth Harper, Trenton Harper, Daycee Johnson, Wade Hamlin, Bailey Hamlin, and Emily Harper. Montana states her favorite teacher is Mr. Layton because “He acts like I'm not his favorite, but in reality, I know I am.” Her favorite staff quote is, “Join track, that’s the solution to everything.” In three words, Montana describes herself as independent, confident, and expensive. If she could visit anywhere in the world, she would choose Bora Bora because it seems like an expensive Hawaii, and she believes it would be an amazing experience. Montana’s favorite school memory was being in Mr. Cogdill’s Science class in 8th grade. Her most embarrassing school memory was when Zack dumped her rubber bands for her braces in Mr. Cogdill’s fish tank.
When Montana was a child, she wanted to be a doctor, but she now plans to attend college to become a Correctional Nurse and join the National Guard. She participates in softball. Montana’s advice to underclassmen: “Don’t worry about others’ thoughts or opinions. Be your own person.” She is very excited about graduating, but she will miss her friends the most. Montana feels her greatest influence is her boyfriend because “Keigan has always been there for me and has always pushed me to become a better version of myself.” She believes her biggest accomplishment will be graduating from high school.
