Brooklyn Rose Barks was born on September 24, 2007, to Brittney and Jeremy Barks. She has two siblings, Damon and Aspen. Brooklyn’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Balzer because “she is always there for me when I need her.” Three words she would use to describe herself would be bold, compassionate, and outgoing. If Brooklyn could travel anywhere in the world, it would be to New York so she could see the Brooklyn Bridge. Her favorite school memories are hanging out with friends and working as Ms. Braswell’s student assistant.
When Brooklyn was a child, she wanted to become an anesthesiologist when she grew up. Brooklyn’s plans after high school are to attend college and earn her RN degree. She is involved in Beta and participates in softball. Brooklyn’s advice to underclassmen is to “choose your friends wisely.” When asked how she feels about graduating, she said she feels excited. The person who has had the greatest influence on her is her mom because she has always been there for her, no matter what. Brooklyn feels that her biggest accomplishment will be graduating from high school.
