Kaydence Stause Senior Picture

Kaydence Nicole Stause was born on June 15, 2006, to parents Alisha Skaggs and Joseph Stause. Kaydence’s siblings are Aarron, Tristan, Chloe, and Paisley. Her favorite teacher, Mr. Ridings, has been a constant source of support and guidance. Kaydence’s favorite staff quote is: "Rule #1: Don't hurt Stause" - Ridings. Three words that describe Kaydence are insightful, considerate, and unique. She dreams of traveling to Japan because of its beautiful flowers and unique sites. Her favorite memories include when her cross-country team went to state and participating in pep club her senior year. Kaydence's most embarrassing moment in high school was tripping a little girl making her fall and drop her pretzel on the floor during a home game. “I disappeared after that.” she states.

When she was a child, she wanted to be a marine biologist. She now plans to attend Mineral Area College then transfer to SEMO to pursue a career in Aviation to become an AirEvac Helicopter Pilot. She is involved in Pep club, FFA, Cross Country and Track. Her advice to underclassmen is to never doubt their coaches and not to expect everyone to like. Kaydence will miss her team, teachers, and friends. Coach Layton has had the greatest influence on Kaydence, teaching her that she is always better than she thinks she is. She feels that her biggest accomplishment is making Woodland history, placing 2nd at State in Cross Country as a team. That banner will look amazing with their names on it, and Coach bragging on them, just like he did on his previous teams.
