Seth Michael Abernathy was born on April 20, 2006. He is the son of Mike Abernathy and has five siblings: Eli, Cecil, Raina, Trinity, and Daniel. Seth is involved in Pep Club, and he participates in basketball, baseball, and track and field. Three words Seth would use to describe himself are honest, funny, and stubborn. His favorite teacher is Mr. Boyer because, throughout high school, Mr. Boyer has taught Seth many valuable life lessons. If Seth could travel anywhere in the world, he would travel to Hawaii. Seth’s most embarrassing high school memory was, getting in trouble for fighting in high school. His favorite high school memory was, “when we skipped class and played last one to leave wins and we got swats for it.”
When Seth was a child, he always wanted to be Lightning McQueen. It's crazy how plans change because now, Seth plans on going to college to play baseball and become a teacher. Seth feels his greatest accomplishment so far has been simply passing high school. Seth is excited to graduate but is scared to finally begin his journey as an adult. His advice to underclassmen is, “It goes by fast cherish the moments with your friends and teachers.” Seth will miss the unique environment our school offers students that feels like home. The people who have had the greatest influence on Seth were Mrs. Balzer and Mrs. Stegeman. “They made me get out of my comfort zone and made me speak in public multiple times and made me more confident.”
