Colby Duane Miller was born September 9, 2005. He is the son of Lisa and Mark Miller, Colby has five siblings Shelby, Colton, Connor, Cory, and Cassi. His favorite teacher is Mr. Boyer because, “he is my best buddy and teaches me a lot.” A staff quote that has stuck with Colby through high school is “I can’t do anything around you boys.” by Mrs. Balzer. Three words to describe Colby are funny, athletic, and smart.
If Colby could travel anywhere in the world, he would go to the Cayman Islands because he likes clear ocean waters. His favorite high school memory is “Weenie Wednesday in the shop grilling hotdogs for advisory.” When asked about his most embarrassing high school memory, Colby says “Nothing, I do everything great.” When Colby was a child, he wanted to be an astronaut when he grew up, now Colby plans to attend Mineral Area College to get his RN. Colby is involved in pep club, track, and basketball. His advice to younger classmen is “having a blast is better than stressing about school stuff.” When asked how he feels about graduating Colby says, “happy because I get to start a new chapter in my life and sad because I have to leave it all behind.” What Colby will miss most about high school is “everyone, and all the memories I shared with my buddies.” The person who has had the greatest impact on Colby is his mom because she works hard every day no matter what and sets the bar high for him. Colby's greatest accomplishment is being accepted into the college of his choice.
