Picture of Emmalee Bryant

Emmalee Jane Bryant is the daughter of Rebecca and Bradley Bryant. She was born May 8, 2004. She has two siblings, Zachary and Brandon. One of her many favorite teachers is Ms. Layton, “She has been helping and caring, always being there to answer my questions that I might have. She has helped me come to the decision that I want to further my education and become a teacher.” Three words used to describe herself are quiet, sweet, and caring.

If Emmalee could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to Italy, “I would love to experience the culture and all of the food.” Her favorite school memory was during her freshman year when Abby said something so funny she couldn’t stop laughing, “even after lunch was over, I just couldn’t stop.” When Emmalee was little, she wanted to be a teacher, “I wanted to become a teacher even before I got into kindergarten.” After high school, she plans on attending Missouri State-West Plains. Her advice to her underclassmen, “Don’t stress over everything in high school. Try your best and set goals for yourself. Don’t be in a rush to grow up, enjoy this time now, live in the moment.” When asked her thoughts about graduating, she said it’s a little nerve wracking but also exciting at the same time. “It’s exciting to be able to start my own life and achieve the many goals that I have set for my future.” The thing she will miss most is spending time with friends and seeing the awesome staff Woodland has, “they are always willing to help students and make school worthwhile.” The person who has had the greatest influence on her life is her mom, “She is always there when I need her,” she says, “She inspires me to achieve my goals.” She says her biggest accomplishment being accepted into Missouri State-West.

Emmalee would like to shout out her Mom, Dad, Zach, Brandon, Mrs. McCulley, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Layton, Mrs. Stegeman, Ms. Braswell, Mrs. Brumfield, Abby Jansen, Gracie Bowman, and the rest of my family and friends. Another heartfelt shoutout to all the wonderful staff that Woodland has.
